Sesame Street is a children's television show that combines education and entertainment through puppetry, music, and storytelling to teach kids essential life skills.

Hefty Heroes is an educational pop-up event concept, partnering Hefty with Sesame Street to teach families about waste sorting. The traveling event featured interactive clean-ups, character-themed waste categories, and custom-designed trash bags, cans, and educational posters. The goal was to engage elementary-aged children and their families in environmental responsibility through playful, hands-on learning.
The Hefty Heroes!
The Hefty Hero’s School bus will travel around the United States to metropolitan cities and will teach kids and families how to responsibly sort waste with color coded trash bags and cans as well as informational posters and cookies from the Cookie Monster!
Products
Mixed waste, compost, and recycling all have corresponding colors and characters to bring bright fun design to a normally boring chore and increase user engagement.
